6 Quick Tips to Finish Your Jigsaw Puzzle

When you have found the perfect jigsaw puzzle for sale, nothing is more exciting than taking it home to assemble. After opening the box, many people can become discouraged. There are so many pieces, how do you even begin?

1) The first step is to find a flat surface that is big enough for you to assemble your jigsaw puzzle. Some people like to use their kitchen table or a fold up poker table. Depending on the size of your jigsaw puzzle, you might even need something bigger. Also, be sure the surface you pick has access to adequate lighting.

2) Most people are very familiar with this step, but separate the border pieces from the inside pieces. While doing this, it will also be very helpful to sort the inside pieces into different groups according to colors or markings. I usually end up making 5 or 6 different piles. Although this seems like quite a pain to do, it will be tremendously helpful further down the line.

3) Assemble the border pieces. If you are missing any border pieces, don’t worry about it. The missing piece(s) will be sure to turn up as you progress through assembling your jigsaw puzzle.

4) Next, you assemble the main body of your jigsaw puzzle. This is where the separated piles of inside pieces will come in handy. Chose one of the piles to assemble and this will form one of the main features of the jigsaw puzzle. Then chose a second pile to assemble, then before you know it, you are done.

5) If you are having difficulties, it might be helpful to line up the pieces with the same shape. This will help your eyes quickly identify a hole or corner piece you are looking for.

6) Be sure to utilize the picture that comes on the box of your puzzle. This will make  assembling your jigsaw puzzle much easier.

After you have completed all of the previous steps, than your jigsaw puzzle should be complete. Now, all you have to do is glue it together and frame it to enjoy for years to come. Or, you could put the jigsaw puzzle back in the box and put  up your jigsaw puzzle for sale.
